Governors
The Governing Board plays a strategic role, monitoring all aspects of our Federation.
Their overall responsibility is to support the Headteacher to ensure the school maintains a high quality of education for all.
Our Governing Board
plans the Federation's future development, monitoring and evaluating progress
helps to set and review the Federation's policies
is accountable for the performance of the Federation to parents and the wider community
recruits the Headteacher and works closely with her
makes decisions on the Federation's budget, allocation of resources and staffing
makes sure the National Curriculum and Religious Education are taught
decides how the Federation can encourage pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
makes sure the Federation provides for all its pupils, including those with special educational needs.
Each Governor is elected for a period of four years by the Parochial Church Council, the County Council, the Parish Council, the parents, the teachers and the Diocesan Education Committee.
