Key Stage 2 - Beech Class - Year 3

Welcome to Beech Class! We are year 3.

 

 

There are 10 children in our class this year and Mrs West is our teacher for English, maths and R, Mrs McDonald for Art and Mr Davies for Music.

 

In the afternoons, we join the Sycamore class for Topic and PE.

 

 

Vendredi, les enfants ont des cours de français avec Mme Brown!

We all learn IT on a Friday and the recorder on Wednesday with Mr Davies.

Beech Class have two hours of PE from specialist coaches every week.

PE is dance with Mr Sapsed on Tuesday and multi-skills on Thursday with Mr Taylor.

 

Homework includes daily reading for at least 15 minutes, topic homework on alternate weeks, spellings and maths using Mathletics.

 

We know that we learn from our mistakes, and that we need to be challenged in order to get better.

 

In Beech class the message is not ‘I can’t’ – we’d rather say, ‘I can’t……yet!
